This website developed from a spiritual discipline of reading Christian prayers and pairing them with scriptures and suitable images. The prayers tend to be intimate and personal, expressing conversations with God. My hope is that readers re-pray these prayers and deepen your walk of faith.

My intention is to provide a resource of prayers from a variety of voices and traditions throughout the centuries.  I try to follow the church calendar from Advent through Easter through “ordinary time” while also mixing in prayers related to the Sunday sermon or whatever else I find meaningful.  

I’m Eric Mathews – originally from NW FL, I now live in SE MA.  My other interests include medical devices, classical and jazz music, homeless ministry, hiking, and English football.
