desiring and finding
O Lord our God,
grant us to desire you with all our heart,
that so desiring, we may seek and find you;
and so finding you we may hate those sins
from which you have redeemed us;
for the sake of Jesus Christ.
tasting on earth our heavenly inheritance
God, according to your promise
you have given your Holy Spirit to us your people,
that we might know the freedom of your children
and taste on earth our heavenly inheritance;
let us always maintain the unity he gives,
and living in his power
be your witnesses to all men;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
