Today we rejoice in the salvation of the world.
Christ is risen;
let us arise in him!
Christ enters new life;
let us live in him!
Christ has come forth from the tomb;
let us shake off the fetters of evil!
The gates of hell are open,
the powers of evil are overcome!
In Christ a new creation is coming to birth,
Alleluia!
Lord, make us new,
Alleluia!
St Gregory of Nazianzus (330–389) Archbishop of Constantinople

Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin,
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you,
then He who raised Christ from the dead
will also bring your mortal bodies to life
through His Spirit who lives in you.
These are great verses to compliment this prayer. They urge me to read all the other references to the resurrection in the NT.
