God, we appeal to you, who sent your Son to reconcile the whole world to yourself.
Make us like Jesus, who died for the sake of your enemies while we were yet sinners,
who cried out for forgiveness for those who were crucifying you.
Holy Spirit, convict and shame and save our enemies in ISIS.
Torment and call them with visions and dreams of Prophet Jesus,
and turn them from Sauls to Pauls for Your great name.
Astound us and them with your great power,
you who caused even the vicious and barbaric Ninevites to repent
and worship you with a mere proclamation by a reluctant prophet.
No one is beyond your mercy; nothing is beyond your power.
Help our unbelief.
And though we often seek safety and comfort more than your kingdom and righteousness,
send Your people to ISIS to proclaim your kingdom and King Jesus, the source of peace.
Empower your people everywhere to bear the cross for our enemies as you did for yours;
enable us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us and our brothers and sisters. Make us like you, Jesus.

Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time:
“Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”
Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh.
Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it.
