Praise to you, O faithful God!
You never fail those who trust in you,
but you allow them to share in your glory.
You fight for us against everything
that could attack us or do us harm.
You are our shepherd,
and you free us from the snare.

so that I might preach the Good News
in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear.
And he rescued me from certain death.
Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack
and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom.
