Blessed art Thou, O Lord God Almighty, the Ancient of Days,
who has set your Son Jesus Christ our Lord
upon the glorious throne of your kingdom,
exalted far above all peoples, all places, all times, eternally;
that he who has worn our flesh, and borne our manhood
into the holy of holies,
should from now on pour down heavenly gifts upon his people,
and be both our righteous judge and most merciful intercessor;
to whom with you, O Father, and you, O Holy Spirit, one God,
belongs all might, majesty, dominion, and praise,
now and forever.

He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens— far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he subjected everything under his feet and appointed him as head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.
