Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the opportunity to travel and visit foreign lands.

Thank you for dear friends who are from one such foreign land

    and their invitation to travel their country with them.

Thank you for the means to make these journeys

    and also good health and the sense of adventure.

Thank you for the air travel industry

    and all the people who make these journeys safe and possible.

Travel with all eight of us, Lord, giving us assurance of your presence.

Help us to share the blessings we have in Christ with everyone we encounter.

Give us true sight to see people as you do

    and help us with the difficult challenges

    arising from a culture so different from our own..

Bless us with your protection and grant us your peace.
