O my God, You are good;
there is no one good but You;
all greatness You are, but all goodness first.
Out of Your goodness You made us;
by Your goodness we know You;
for Your goodness we love You;
after Your goodness we would walk;
to the goodness of Your Kingdom, come.
Your goodness follows us all the days of our lives,
and most blessed of all is the promised end
that we shall see You, come to You, live with You.
Let us begin that heaven here
through the Spirit Your bounty gives us.
Be the sense of Your goodness ever in our souls,
waking a goodness that answers to Yours.
Let the Lord be praised daily, even God
who shows us His goodness plentifully
and pours His benefits upon us.
Praise the Lord, O my Soul.

_______________
Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
