Loving and living Lord,
as I welcome you into my heart
I call upon you to hallow this time:

that I may know your blessing
and you may know my devotion;

that I may know your presence
and you may know my worship;

that I may know your will
and you may know my willingness;

that I may know you in the silence … … …
and you may know me in my praise.

Amen.

after Iain MacDonald, minister Church of Scotland
original for corporate worship
