Loving and good God,
  how great your love and goodness are to us.
Out of your love you extend your grace,
  and reward those who do not deserve it.
It is out of your love that we are not crushed,
  but able to survive the challenges surrounding us.
You extend your love to the unlovable
  – to rejected, hopeless sinners.
Because your love and goodness know no boundaries,
  you dine with both black and white.
Because your love and goodness know no discrimination,
  rich and refugees,
  orphans and street children,
  learned and illiterate,
    all are called by your name;
      and you call us all your children.
Lord, how great is your love and goodness to us.
You love all who are neglected and rejected.
So we say thank you, Lord, for your love and goodness
  to us and to the whole world.

Praise the Lord.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.
Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
    or fully declare his praise?
Blessed are those who act justly,
    who always do what is right.
Remember me, Lord, when you show favor to your people,
    come to my aid when you save them,
that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones,
    that I may share in the joy of your nation
    and join your inheritance in giving praise.
