God,
it seems you are in the recycling business.
You always see what is worthy and redeemable.
You never discard this world.
You always see the value of each person.
Like those scrounging around the tip finding something of value,
You sent Jesus into the world as part of your great saving plan.
Those who were the forgotten ones in his society
He loved.
Those who were placed on the garbage dump
He made new.
God,
You are the great scavenger and
the great conservationist.
Include us in your recycling plan.
Remind us that what the world considers
nonsense, and throws out as weak and useless
Is the most valuable of all.

Awake! Why are you sleeping, O Lord?
Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever!
Why do you hide your face?
Why do you forget our affliction and oppression?
For our soul is bowed down to the dust;
our belly clings to the ground.
Rise up; come to our help!
Redeem us for the sake of your steadfast love!
prayer & verse 
Very interesting way to express redemption. And it will be a full and complete redemption that literally makes new everything in this world- no more garbage, no more recycling, pollution, decay, and so on.
